Ingredients

50 grams of Raisins

½ kilogram of Stale bread

10 Amaretti cookies (Italian almond cookies)

½ liter of Milk

2 Eggs

2 Apples, thinly sliced

2 Pears, thinly sliced

20 grams of Pine nuts

50 grams of Sugar

2 milliliters of Amaretto liqueur

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare this delicious cake, first soak the raisins in milk.

Step 2 : Next, soak the crumbled bread and cookies in the same milk for about an hour until fully soaked.

Step 3 : Then, blend the mixture until completely integrated.

Step 4 : Once the previous mixture is ready, add the eggs, squeezed raisins, apples and pears, pine nuts, sugar, and liqueur.

Step 5 : Mix everything until you get a homogeneous batter, then add the lemon zest to give it a special aroma.

Step 6 : After, pour the resulting batter into a previously buttered and floured cake mold, making sure to level it well.

Step 7 : Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for approximately 15 minutes.

Step 8 : Then, reduce the oven temperature to 170°C and bake for an additional 45 minutes.
