Ingredients
50 grams of Basil
250 milliliters of Alcohol
150 grams of Water
200 grams of Sugar
Preparation
Step 1 : Gently wash and dry the basil leaves, then place them in a container with a lid and cover with the indicated amount of alcohol.
Step 2 : Close the container and let it macerate for at least 20 days in a cool, dark place.
Step 3 : After that time, prepare the syrup by boiling water in a pot, add the sugar, and stir until the sugar dissolves.
Step 4 : Once the syrup is ready, let it cool.
Step 5 : Pour the cooled syrup over the macerated basil leaves and let it rest for another 20 days.
Step 6 : After this maceration period, strain the drink into another container.
Step 7 : Once the basil liqueur is ready, it can be bottled in bottles with cork caps.
Step 8 : It is recommended to wait a few days before serving, keeping it in the refrigerator.
