Ingredients

8 Fried peppers

1 Baguette

Milk

Water

100 grams of Grated Parmesan cheese

30 grams of Capers

750 milliliters of Tomato sauce

1 Mozzarella ball

1 Egg

3 Slices of cooked ham

Oregano

1 pinch of Salt

1 pinch of Pepper

Preparation

Step 1 : The process begins by soaking the bread in a bowl with a mixture of milk and water in a two-to-one ratio, allowing it to absorb the liquids well and become soft.

Step 2 : Meanwhile, wash, dry, and cut the peppers, which will be cooked whole in a skillet with a little oil until they turn golden and crispy.

Step 3 : Next, chop the cooked ham and mozzarella into small pieces, preparing them for the mixture.

Step 4 : When the bread is ready and has absorbed all the liquid, drain it and add it to a large container along with the chopped ingredients, leaving out the tomato sauce for now.

Step 5 : Mix everything well, ensuring it’s uniform and has a consistent texture.

Step 6 : Using this mixture, fill the peppers, making sure they are well loaded.

Step 7 : Place the filled peppers in an oven-proof dish and cover them with hot tomato sauce.

Step 8 : Finally, bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for about 30 to 40 minutes, or until the peppers are golden and the surface looks appetizing and well-cooked.
